Registration

By registering with F1RE, I recognize and support the following:

  • F1RE stands for Females 1st Racing Enduro. Our mission is “More girls and women on bikes and make it enduro.”

  • We schedule many rides from April to October. Groups are kept small, most rides are led by women and I, as a teammate or as the parent of a junior, agree to use TeamSnap to sign up for rides.

  • I understand I am covered by F1RE’s team insurance for accident, medical and liability only if I use TeamSnap.

  • Enduro racing is tough and that’s part of what makes it special. We demonstrate grace, resilience and joy on the trails in winning and losing.

  • All teammates are prepared and resourceful. We carry appropriate water, nutrition and bike repair supplies. We arrive at every ride with a bike that is trail ready.

  • Gear: all teammates wear appropriate enduro or DH gear at every group ride and every race. This includes knee pads and a full face helmet. If a U19 rider shows up without a full face helmet and knee pads she/they will not ride with the team that day.

  • Sponsored benefits of joining F1RE include 25% discounts on gear and bikes. In return, you are required to wear the F1RE jersey at all races.

  • The dads, boyfriends and husbands who support the girls and women are welcome to join our “Dads-N-Dudes” squad provided they register for the team and pay dues. This also entitles you to insurance. This is the only squad for whom racing is optional. If you do plan to race, we can discuss adding you to our race roster. We are not open to U19 boys.

Dues - 100$

This year your dues will provide excellent insurance coverage and group rides from April to October and race day support. Everyone who rides with the team is required to pay dues with one exemption: if you bring in a sponsorship of $500 or more your dues are waived.

All parents/spouses/boyfriends: if you want to ride with the team, we need you to fill out this form and pay dues. You will then be covered under our insurance.

F1RE Ride Leaders, Sweeps and Guest Coaches

  • Our ride leaders and sweeps are teammates and volunteers who know an area particularly well and take responsibility for navigation. Our rides typically include time to session features. Sweeps are always adults and may be a volunteer from the Dads-N-Dudes squad.

  • Guest coaches. Expert guides who provide one or two guided rides per season and lead pre-rides at race venues. Not members of the team.

  • Professional DH and Enduro skills coaches. Available at an additional fee - greatly discounted courtesy of F1RE.
